There is nothing better than coming across such a simple and yet delicious recipe! Children loved these the most, which really came as a surprise. The muffins are moist with just the right amount of sweetness and chocolate and a pleasant banana aroma. And they still taste great the next day! If you wish, you can pipe them with any type of filling or spread some chocolate ganache on top.
You can also add Oreo cupcakes or serve them with Raffaello cupcakes.

Ingredients for banana chocolate muffins

100 g all purpose flour

15 g BAM cacao powder

7 g baking powder

a pinch of salt

160 g sliced ripe banana (one large banana)

80 g sugar

50 ml oil

1 egg (medium-sized)

2 pumps BAM vanilla paste

50 g BAM dark baking chocolate drops + a few drops to sprinkle on top

Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 175 °C (350 °F). Mash the banana well with a fork. Add the sugar, vanilla, oil and egg to the banana and stir until combined. Mix the flour, cacao, salt and baking powder and sift on top of the banana mixture. Stir quickly until smooth and then stir in the chocolate drops.
- Line the muffin pan with paper liners and divide the batter between them evenly. Bake for about 18 minutes. Cool the baked muffins in the muffin pan for a few minutes, then transfer them to a cooling rack to cool.
